Overview

This 3D-Printed Second-Hand Alignment & Watch Movement Holder was developed by an enthusiastic watch builder who understands the small challenges that often occur during watch assembly. Every part of the design has been carefully refined through trial and improvement to address common alignment and stability issues when installing second hands or holding movements during building and repair.

Each component has been tested using actual movements — NH35, ETA 2824, Miyota 8215, and VK63 — to ensure proper fit and reliable performance. Every holder is individually checked before shipping to maintain consistent accuracy and quality.

Included Parts

• 4 × Movement Holder Rings — Each ring is designed to fit a specific movement (NH, Miyota, ETA, VK63). The watch movement is first mounted onto the appropriate ring to ensure a secure and accurate fit.
• 1 × Base Holder — Holds the movement ring (with the movement attached) firmly in place, providing a stable platform during hand installation, movement repair, or assembly work.
• 2 × Slider Plates (with 0.7 mm alignment hole) — Placed on top of the base to precisely align and install the second hand onto the pinion.

Usage Tip

Secure your movement in the correct ring and insert into the base before the second-hand installation. The precision-fit design minimizes play and improves hand alignment accuracy.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE

• Rare cases may occur if the second-hand sleeve is 0.4 mm or below, 

  or when the minute hand sits too high during installation — in such 

  cases, the second hand may not be able to sit onto the pinion properly.

• Close the top sliding plate slowly to avoid contact or damage.

• Avoid high heat exposure — 3D precision-printed tool.

• These are rare conditions and not due to product defects.
